Productivity up in the Printing World!
The print industry uses natural products such as paper and oil based inks all which are susceptible to temperature change in the manufacturing environment. If the temperature is too hot inks lose there tack and break down on the press rollers. The net result of the ink breakdown is to wash down the press and start again. Paper absorbs moisture and changes its handling properties. It was this in mind that Alan McKenna of Netherton Cross Printers turned to Marstair for it’s air-conditioning to create a more stable environment and to cope with the heat generated by the compressors on the presses themselves.
After an on site survey by one of Marstair’s own qualified installers, a range of 4 ECO products were selected: 1 ECO 26, 1 ECO35 and 2 ECO 70. The high performance ECO systems regulate the temperature within the factory and office environments to provide the right amount of heating and cooling to suit the time of year. Alan McKenna was delighted with the results and commented:

Marstair Eco systems come in 4 sizes with nominal duties of 2.6kW, 3.5kW, 5kW and 7kW. They are easy to install without the need for expensive modifications to existing heating systems. They use the latest R410A refrigerant so offer high performance and efficient operation. They are also compact and very quiet and the unit design is stylish and contemporary.
